DECIDUOUS: (Semi-deciduous in warmer climates).

The elm is a hardy specimen that lends itself well to the typical manipulations and training associated with bonsai techniques. This particular tree has lovely fine leaves and intricate branches that are wired and positioned to produce a lovely canopy that will fill out over time. The trunk has interesting lines, and a fantastic texture that enhances the aged appearance of the tree. Presented on a shallow clay bonsai dish with simple yet eloquent rock landscape
